I'm Feeling: amused

I'm now officially sick along with most of the rest of my flist, friends, family, and specifically, child. And for those of you that know me well, here's a treat for ya. I've lost my voice. :D Great. I just pray that Kylee doesn't push my buttons today. o.O

I'm going to go watch me some pretty. I need some cheering up I think. My dear beloved daughter has been all "mummy mummy mummy" all friggin evening! o.O I did what she asked and played games on the computer with her, looked at what she wanted me to, bent over backwards to just do stuff with her and just..........OMG. I'm in overload I think. Plus fighting with this stupid thing has me in fits tonight. So, on that note, i'm going to go have a toddy and watch me some pretty. I'm thinking Captain Jack is in the prescription. Because. Yes. Oh, BTW, Harkness, not Sparrow. *snirk*

On another note, my WinXP theme is purty. I downloaded a trial of TuneUp Utilities and it's AWESOME! I'm now looking for a friend for it. Because. Yes. It's an awesome thing to have.

Virtual is fine. :D Seriously, though, I have some graphics to email you but don't have your addy on this hard drive and I wanna say *sn* at rr, but wasn't sure of the extension. I caught whatever K's got. She started getting sick last night and then in the middle of the night I was up sharing the bathroom with her. I feel like utter pooh. Back to the couch I go.

I'm Feeling: sick

I can't believe that my first course with DeVry University is almost over. Another week and a half and I'm done and starting TWO new courses. Am I insane? Or just a glutton for punishment? I have to admit, I'm a little nervous about taking 2 at a time. If K keeps me this busy with just one course, how is it going to be with 2? Wish me luck.

Speaking of K, tonight she's been sporting a new temp of slightly warmer than normal and laying around the house. This is SO not like her. If ANYTHING when she's bored, she gets more hyper. Not....well.....like she's been all night. When Danny was hitting the hay, at around 730 pm or so, I asked if she wanted to go lay with Daddy. She looked at me and said "no doctors". I never had even BREATHED a word about a doctor all night. o.O Ok, and she wants water to drink. She NEVER wants water. Unless she's sick. Great. Here we go again. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers (depending on what you believe) please. I keep thinking, at least IF she's getting sick, she's getting sick on vacation so maybe she won't miss any more school days this year. Hopefully.

Anyway.....off to see what everyone's up to today.....

I'm Feeling: stressed

Just a few random thoughts since I haven't posted in a while:

I finally got my application for classes in and should know whether I've been accepted sometime this week. I think. *crosses fingers* If all goes well, I'll start in March. Wheee!!

My pc fried AGAIN on Friday morning. Grrrr...my mother board is slowly but surely torturing me with it's death. I'm just now getting it back up and running. But for some weird reason, it took over 3 hours last night to install Sims 2. Just the main game. o.O On another note, some things that didn't work before are now working. Like renaming file types. o.O I think that sledgehammer is gearing up for a bashing soon.

K came down with this BAD crud going around. Saturday she started throwing up and then came the HIGH fever of 103. We got it down to around 101 late that night. Yesterday it was still between 100 and 101 but she was able to keep all kinds of fluids down. I'm just glad for that. Nothing like having a dehydrated child. Poor thing. Today her temp is still somewhere around 100 and she's home from school. All she does is lay in bed, watch movies till she gets tired, sleeps for a bit, wakes up and drinks, a sleeps more. She woke up around midnight last night to potty and wanted something to drink. I gave her a little gatorade, but she chugged it instead of sipping like I told her and of course it came right back up. So she's back to ginger ale and water till later. She didn't go back to sleep from when she woke up.....till 6 am that is. o.O *points to self - seriously sleep deprived* Hopefully she'll feel a little better today to put a little solid food in her belly. I'm not too worried about that as long as she's getting her fluids, but I know she must be hungry. At least DH was smart enough to buy some bananas yesterday when he got groceries, seeing as I didn't think to ask him to. And of course, I'm off on vaca with her next week. I guess it's a good thing that she got sick this week instead of next, since she has her annual physical next week which they have to release her for sedation dentistry on the 28th and won't if she's sick. Hopefully she'll be better by then. *crosses fingers again*

DH has been a BIG help with K being sick and all. He slept on the couch Saturday night so she could sleep with me. And again last night after she got up and came in with us. He went grocery shopping for me yesterday. He even cooked supper for us!!! I think I'll keep him. *VBG*

And now that being said, I need to go call the school and bus company to let them know she's staying home today. Then I have to wait till 8 am and call work and let them know I'll be staying home today. Yay.

Well, Kylee's still up and running around. We took a nap earlier so it's all good really. It's the weekend and she likes staying up late sometimes. Will hit the hay within the next hour or so. Have a good night y'all!!!

I'm so excited this morning~! I'm finally back in touch with an old friend (no pun intended either!) and I feel so great! Kylee is off to school, so I'm loading stuff back onto my computer for the umpteenth time. Also having fun looking through Mod the Sims 2 for stuff. I haven't simmed in so long. I also got Photoshop Elements since raynedanser showed me how to get screencaps. Ok, I forsee a Lance/ostrich/space cowboy icon? Or am I imagining things? *cackles*

Anyway, off to see what y'all are up to today.

I'm Feeling: bouncy

I downloaded a few games this week and I can't get any of them to run properly. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR......They are the "Tycoon" games if anyone has any ideas.

On an up note, the female spawn is still alive though she was almost NOT in Marden's today.

DH bought me some flowers to plant this weekend. We found petunias, peppermint and celosia at Home Depot and more celosia, impatiens, and marigolds at Walmart. So whenever this friggin rain stops for 5 seconds and the ground dries up some I'll get out and plant them. I'll be sure to take pictures of the pretties.

I'm so thrilled tonight as I just saw my neighbor's son and his wife and daughter are home from Maryland. As far as I knew they weren't going to be able to since he wasn't getting out of the military this year. So this is a surprise. I'm sure we'll have a night where they can come over and visit. And drink. *snicker* They are good friends and we haven't seen them in over a year.

Hope everyone's day is going ok. I haven't been around much to even check the puter. I haven't even had a chance to watch SPN yet. *Weh?* Anyway, I'm hoping to get to it this weekend if I can be uninterrupted long enough. Yeah right.
